In some cases, we can provide oral contraceptives without a prescription, for example if you’ve had the same oral contraceptive for the last three years and not developed any risk factors. 

All of our pharmacists are trained and can prescribe sildenafil for men aged 35 – 70 years and who meet assessment criteria.

The ECP is taken to reduce the risk of unwanted pregnancy.  It works best if taken as soon as possible but can be taken up to 72 hours after.

Unwanted medicines that tipped down the toilet, sink or put in the rubbish can harm the environment. Bring your expired or unwanted medicines, or needles/lancets and syringes into the pharmacy for us to dispose of cleanly and safely. 

Medications are available without a prescription to women between 16 and 65 years, who are not pregnant and do not have any other complicating factors. This includes nitrofurantoin or trimethoprim.
