Vaccinations

Vaccinations are the safest and most effective way to prevent infection. Our pharmacists are trained to provide these for you and your tamariki's health.

What vaccinations we offer

Influenza

The flu vaccine is available from 1 April each year. It’s recommended everyone over 6 months old gets a flu vaccination every year. It’s free for people who are pregnant, over 65s, and for lots of other people.

Whooping Cough

Multiple whooping cough vaccinations are needed to protect you throughout your life. Whooping cough vaccines are free for pregnant people, children under 18 years old, and adults 45-65 years old.

COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccines are free for everyone aged 5 and over.

They’re also available to tamariki from 6 months who are at greater risk of severe illness if they were to get COVID-19.

Tetanus

A part of the National Immunisation Schedule for babies, and a booster is recommended from age 11. It is also free if you are pregnant or between 45-65 years old.

Shingles

Anyone who has had chicken pox is at risk of developing shingles.

The Shingrix vaccine is recommended for anyone ages 50 or over, and is free for over 65s, contact us to confirm eligibility.

Other vaccinations

We can also offer provide a vaccination for Meningitis; Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) and HPV. Please call us in store to book an appointment.
